3-Life insurance cover:

Under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) scheme, all the account holders get Rs.30,000 after their death. This money will be given to nominees which are mentioned on the account holder details file.

4-Overdraft facility:

Overdraft facility will be given to the account holder-Under the scheme, all the account holders get an overdraft facility of Rs.10,000. This overdraft is just like credit card money. But in these accounts, you have a limit of 10,000. “OVERDRAFT” means that you can take money from the bank up to 10,000. But this money only is given to those account holders who maintain their balance in the account or do regular transactions in their account or have maintained a good profile in front of the bank.

But the money you are borrowing you have to give it back to the bank on time otherwise your account will be fined by the bank. The best thing about overdraft money is that you do not need to pay interest on the borrowed money.

5-Direct money transfer from the government:

The government can transfer money directly to the account holders because the government has direct information on these government accounts. So, the transfer of money is easily done.   • 6- The Gov. also launches an app called Jan Dhan Darshak App which also gives the facility to everyone to locate banks, post offices, or E-Mitra centres near his location.

Through the government scheme, transfers 30,000 crore amount to women account holders during the pandemic period or covid period. For three months government also transfers Rs. 500 to every account holder during the pandemic. This achievement they have got due to this scheme.
  • 8- The DBT transactions that failed this year are also less than the previous year. This year 5.7% failure DBT transactions are only done. But in the previous year, there are 13.4% of failures in DBT transactions are done. This shows the improvement in the scheme every year.
